Christmas in August?

Why are you talking about Christmas in August, you might ask?

Well, the days might be getting shorter but we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet!

Having said that, we know that when September rolls around it’s about the right time to start planning your Christmas campaigns, mailings and 2020 calendars.

If you’re currently reviewing your budgets for your Christmas mail spend and working out how many records you can afford to mail, then it may be useful for you to know that the Royal Mail now accept greeting cards and branded calendars as Advertising Mail.

A reduction in the postage cost for these packs can make your budget stretch further.  Perhaps you could use the extra spend to try that fancy print finish that you’ve previously had to avoid, or maybe it just means that you can send Christmas greetings to more of your database than usual.

Of course, as always with postage there are some rules and restrictions that you’ll need to be aware of.  Our customer service team are on hand to answer any queries that you may have, and advise on what you can and can’t do to achieve a cheaper postage rate.
